Karen Jacobsen performed The Star Spangled Banner on the national conference’s main stage as well as at the NSA Youth Conference in San Diego (2014). From 2017 to 2019, she served as Secretary on the National Speakers Association board of directors.

Karen Jacobsen has keynoted and performed at the Global Speakers Summit in Vancouver in 2013, the World Meetings Forum in Cancun in 2014, the World Contact Forum in Mexico City in 2014, and the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association conference in Gold Coast in 2014.

Karen Jacobsen is a voice-over artist, singer, and songwriter from Australia. In the United States, she is best known as the “Siri” voice of the GPS navigation system.

Jacobsen began her career as a professional singer, touring Australia and abroad. She relocated to New York City in 2000 and began playing in local clubs and events.
