Keira D’Amato (born October 21, 1984, as Keira Carlstrom) is a professional runner for the United States of America. Keira holds the American women’s marathon record with a time of 2:19:12 at the 2022 Houston Marathon. Keira is also a three-time USA Track & Field national champion and the American record holder for the women’s-only 10-mile distance.

Injuries throughout her post-college career caused D’Amato to take a break from the sport in 2009. She started playing adult soccer and cycling, while also working as the marketing director for a chain of local running stores in Virginia. She started competing in marathons in 2016 after returning to competitive running. In 2017, Keira and her husband ran a marathon together.

They finished the distance in 3:14:54. Later that year, at the Richmond Marathon, she lowered her time to 2:47:00. She qualified for the 2020 US Olympic Women’s Marathon Trials with a time of 2:34:55 during the 2019 Berlin Marathon, where she placed 15th with a time that was then a personal best of 2:34:24.
