Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Agyapong took his time to explain the true meaning of Despite as used in the name of Millionaire Osei Kwame Despite.
As a friend to the Millionaire, Kennedy Agyapong advised Ghanaians never to envy Despite because he worked so hard for his success.
He said the name ‘Despite’ came from: “Despite no education, he was still going to make it in life.” – Referring to Kwame Osei ‘Despite’.
Reacting to the spectacular display of wealth during Despite’s son, Kennedy Osei’s wedding, Kennedy Agyapong noted there’s nothing wrong for displaying his wealth.
According to him, the millionaire could not get such a chance when growing up, so he can decide to lavish it on his kids.
Also, the lawmaker gave some deep piece of how one can make it big in life.
