Kim was born in the year 1975 in the city of Goyang-Si, and she had an early interest in the arts. After completing his studies at Dong-Eui University in Busan for a period of three years, he went on to serve for a period of two years in the Special Forces Unit of the South Korean Army.
During the course of 12 years, he produced drawings that spread across six printed sketchbooks totalling approximately 4,500 pages.
Additionally, in 2017, he worked on a project with the famed Japanese artist Katsuya Terada. The visual artist was well-known for his ability to recreate intricate images from memory as well as his works that were on a grand scale.

Apparently, Kim Jung Gi died of natural causes. Kim died in Paris on October 3, 2022. According to the creator’s official social media, Jung Gi began experiencing significant chest problems while flying from Paris, France to New York Comic-Con.
Kim was proclaimed dead despite being taken to a local hospital and undergoing surgery.
