Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, better known mononymously as Krishna was an actor, director, and producer from India. Krishna was born on 31 May 1943 in Burripalem, Madras Presidency, British India, presently known as Andhra Pradesh, India. Krishna is also known as Superstar.
Krishna was active in the film industry and was very notable for his works in Telugu cinema. To records, Krishna appeared in over 350 films which include Then Manasulu, Kanne Manasulu, Saakshu, Marapurani Katha, and Undamma Bottu Pedata, among other great films.
Krishna was married to two women. Krishna was first married to Vijaya Nirmala from 1946 until Nirmala died on 27 June 2019. In the course of his marriage to Nirmala, Krishna got married to Indira Devi in the year 1952. Nirmala never gave birth but Krishna had five children with Indira Devi.
On 15 November 2022, Krishna died at the age of 79 years old in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
