Lando Norris, a Belgian-British racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for McLaren and races under the British flag, was born on November 13, 1999.
In addition to the Toyota Racing Series, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, and Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup in 2016, he also won the MSA Formula title in 2015.
In the same year, he also got the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
He then enrolled in the McLaren Young Driver Program in 2017 and, while driving for Carlin Motorsport, won the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
He was consequently moved to the Formula 2 Carlin team, where he competed with Carlin Motorsport and finished second in 2018.
He was later confirmed to drive for McLaren alongside Carlos Sainz Jr. in 2018.
Norris was initially drawn to motorcycle racing, but after his father drove him and his brother to see a Super 1 National Kart Championships race at his local kart track, his interest was drawn to vehicles with four wheels.
At the age of seven, he won the pole position at his first national competition, launching his racing career.
