Logan began her media career as a reporter for Durban’s Sunday Tribune while still a student in 1988-89. From 1990-1992, she worked for the Durban Daily News. In 1992, she was hired as a senior producer for Reuters Television. Four years later, she would become a freelance journalist. She worked as a freelance reporter, editor, and producer for INT, Fox/Sky, NBC, CBS, London’s ABC, and the European Broadcast Union.
Under CNN, she covered the 1998 bombings at the US embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania, the Kosovo war, and the Northern Ireland troubles.
