Letitia Michelle Wright is a Guyanese-British actress. Letitia Wright was born on October 31, 1993, in Georgetown, Guyana. Letitia Wright started her career in television with cameo appearances in the shows Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, Doctor Who, and Black Mirror. Letitia Wright received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the latter. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) selected Wright among the 2015 group of BAFTA Breakthrough Brits for her performance in the movie Urban Hymn, which served as her breakthrough performance.
Wright’s performance of Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Black Panther, for which she received an NAACP Image Award and a SAG Award, helped her gain notoriety on a global scale in 2018.

In Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), the latter of which became the all-time second-highest earning movie, Wright played the same part again. The BAFTA Rising Star Award went to her in 2019. In 2020, Wright was a part of the anthology series Small Axe, for which she was nominated for a Satellite Award.
