Liam Payne has been making the news lately for a variety of reasons. Just a week after announcing a new relationship after calling it split with on-again, off-again fiancée Maya Henry, 22, the 28-year-old British artist has made a stunning revelation regarding Canadian musician Justin Bieber, 28.
On Logan Paul’s podcast, ImPaulsive, on May 31, he stated that he does not believe he would fight Justin in a celebrity battle because Justin “wouldn’t do it.”
“I wouldn’t fight [rapper] Trippie Redd because I’m not on his level,” he continued.
The father of one did concede, though, that he expected Justin would be “very skilled.”
Host Logan, 27, prompted Liam to clarify his statement, but he instead delivered a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonation, as played by Johnny Depp.
Mike Majlak, his co-host, called him out on it.
“As you can see, he’s trying to be someone else once more.” When he gets into certain situations, he says he just pretends,” he chuckled.
Liam continued to evade the subject of not being on Justin’s level by doing another impersonation.
While the substance of Liam’s statement is unknown, he did address his feud with Justin, which began in March 2015 when Liam responded on Twitter to an apparent Ariana Grande fan who wondered whether it was “depressing” that he would never be as successful as the “Baby” singer.
