Liton Das is a right-handed batsman who represents Bangladesh in international cricket. He has played for Bangladesh in all three versions of the game. His position in the squad is as an opening batsman who also keeps wickets.
Liton Das made his first-class debut for Rangpur in October 2011 against Dhaka Division. Although his first season was unproductive, he made a strong recovery in the second season, registering a ton and a half-century. He scored five centuries and finished the seven-match season with 1,024 runs at an average of 85.33 while playing for Rangpur Division in the 2014-15 National Cricket League. His team won the championship.
Litton’s performance at the 2014 U-19 World Cup in Abu Dhabi, when he scored 239 in four innings, was a watershed moment in his career.
Litton made his first-class debut against India in June 2015, followed by his ODI debut against India in the same month, and his T20I debut against South Africa in July 2015.
