Logan Stanley, is a professional ice hockey defenseman from Canada, who was born in Kitchener, Ontario, on May 26, 1998. He is presently a member of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The Jets selected Stanley with the 18th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draught. His most recent team in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) was the Kitchener Rangers.
Before being chosen by the Windsor Spitfires in the first round, 12th overall, of the 2014 OHL Priority draught, Stanley competed as a young player with the Waterloo Wolves in the AHMMPL. He made a commitment to play with Bob Boughner’s OHL Spitfires on May 9, 2014.
Stanley has participated in IIHF tournaments and training camps, he agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract on December 7, 2016, with the Winnipeg Jets. However, he suffered a knee injury in January of the 2016–17 season, and he didn’t start playing again until April. Together with the Windsor Spitfires, Stanley won the Memorial Cup Championship on May 28, 2017. He was acquired by the Kitchener Rangers in a trade on August 8, 2017.
