A young man named Lauie Tagaloa was brutally stabbed in the neck by another young man after a fight that broke out at Brisbane’s Valley Metro Complex on Monday.
After being stabbed, Lauie, commonly known as LT, bled to death on the ground and passed away there.
Police were looking into the stabbing while a graphic video of it went viral on Twitter, and they nabbed a suspect on Tuesday.
At Valley Metro Complex, LT, a 24-year-old Brisbane resident, was stabbed in the neck following a verbal altercation between two groups.
The two groups got into a fight and exchanged verbal jabs, according to a video posted online, until a man in the back pulled out a knife and swung at the young Tagaloa.
Within a few seconds, Lauie started bleeding to death and fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood.
Authorities said that although witnesses tried to save the victim by giving him first aid, the young Brisbane man passed away immediately since the cut was at a dangerous place.
