The serial killer Lucy Letb, a licensed nurse from Hereford, England, was born on January 4, 1990. Lucy was 33 years old at the time of publishing. She rose to fame as a result of her involvement in a series of newborn deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital, and she was eventually convicted of murdering seven babies.
Lucy Letby was detained in connection with an inquiry into an exceptionally high number of neonatal deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital between 2015 and 2016. Concerns were expressed over the hospital’s choice to involve Cheshire Police, necessitating a separate inquiry.
Because of the pattern of deaths, Letby, who had been working at the hospital since 2011, was suspected by colleagues and top doctors. She has now retired from roles involving children. Her arrest came after comprehensive investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murders.
