Luke Bell was an American country music performer and composer who died on August 29, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1990. Bell once resided in New Orleans, where he made a living by busking on the streets. After that, he relocated back to Cody, Wyoming, where he composed and recorded Don’t Mind If I Do, his second full-length album. He created the album while working on a ranch, and after receiving funding from a Kickstarter campaign, he put it into production. To produce the album, Bell hired Andrija Tokic, who has previously collaborated with Caitlin Rose, Alabama Shakes, and Hurray for the Riff Raff. That same year, he recorded a Daytrotter session. Daytrotter claims that Bell is one of the most talented countries and western songwriters currently writing and that the individuals he writes about “have bigger than life personalities.” Bell relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, following the end of the second record era.
