Malcolm James McCormick was born on January 19, 1992. James was known professionally as Mac Miller. He was a popularly known American rapper and record producer until his sudden demise. Mac Miller first began rapping at the age of 14. He had a passion for rap music and was rapping at such a young age. Miller started his career in Pittsburgh’s hip hop scene in the year 2007, when he was the age of 15.
In the early days of 2013, Miller founded the record label imprint REMember Music, which he named after a deceased friend of his. Miller was a self-taught musician who started to play piano, guitar, drums, and bass by the age of six
Miller died on September 7, 2018. According to the autopsy report, the coroner found fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his body in September 2018 and concluded he accidentally took an overdose. The prosecutors said Mac Miller thought he’d been sold a painkiller called oxycodone – but it had actually been laced with fentanyl, a powerful drug that is fifty times more potent than heroin.
