Mahsa Amini is a 22-year-old Iranian lady who is known to have passed away on September 16, 20222 in w hospital in Teheran under unforeseen conditions.
Mahsa Amini is also known as Jina Amina. According to several sources, Iranian woman Mahsa Amini was said to have been arrested by the Guidagce patrol, an institution known as religious morality police for not wearing hijab in accordance with government standards.
Mahsa Amini upon being transferred to the hospital had cardiac arrest, collapsed and fell into a coma. However, women who were also detained at the police station as eyewitnesses also said Mahsa Amini was severely beaten by the police which eventually lead to her death. On the other hand medical reports also says Mahsa Amini was suffering from cerebral haemorrhage or stroke.
Amini’s death has resulted in a series of protests. Mahsa Amini was buried at the Saqqez in Iran.
