Mampintsha whose full name is Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo is a renowned South African artist who was recently was reported to have passed away at the age of 40 years. Before his death, Mampintsha as he is simply known was a member of “Big Nuz”, a music band.
The band was made up of three persons including Mampintsha himself who are; Mzi “Danger” Tshomela and Sbusiso “R Mashesha” Khoma who is now known to be dead.
Mampintsha gained the spotlight advantage with an enormous amount of popularity when he released his hits songs “Joburg” and “Ngeke”. As a matter of fact, those two singles were known to have made waves since their release.
Since he became part of the group from the very onset of the group’s existence, Mampintsha and the group were able to come out with seven albums in their favor.
Since Mampintsha’s death, the group had to lay low with respect to one of their prominent members. However, it has been reported that the group has made a comeback and is even planning to release their new album after him.

Mampintsha was known to have passed away out of a failed battle with a mild stroke. He was 40 years old at the time of his passing.
