According to a complaint filed on Monday, Bill Manser is not having a good time. For twenty years, Elizabeth Sehr of southwest Missouri told him that he was the father of her child. He claims to have spent time in jail for skipping payments and paid tens of thousands of dollars in child support.
Given that a paternity test she had paid for from a lab showed that Manser was almost probably the father of her child, Sehr had good reason to believe the story.

After the Paternity Court production staff became aware of their predicament, they were flown to California for a taping. On August 12, 2013, Manser, Elizabeth Sehr, and her 20-year-old son Dylan agreed to new DNA testing at a California facility that the program frequently uses.
They appeared on the program on August 29; the result was very different. All three of them are suing LabCorp, the sole Roche company still in business, in North Carolina for negligence and breach of contract in connection with what now appears to be a false positive.
