The Twilight Zone: I Dream of Genie, a 1959 episode of The Twilight Zone, starred Mark Miller as “Roger” (1963). Later, Mark Miller appeared as “Wild Bill Barrows” in the episode I Dream of Jeannie: Ride ‘Em Astronaut from the 1965 television series (1969).

At the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where they formed a lifelong connection, he met Grace Kelly. Many Kelly biographies contain quotes from Mark Miller.

The first teleplay Mark Miller ever wrote, Please Don’t Eat the Daisies: The Magnificent Muldoon (1966), which appeared on the series in which Miller also starred, Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, earned him an Emmy nomination (1965). The special guest star was Burgess Meredith.

Miller reworked the screenplay to include songs Spacek wrote and performed after giving Sissy Spacek the lead part in his debut movie as a writer/producer, Ginger in the Morning (1974). This was the first full picture to feature her singing and songwriting abilities.

Due to a bicycle accident, Mark Miller passed suddenly on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
