Mark Miller (November 20, 1924 – September 9, 2022) was an American stage and television actor and writer who appeared in over 30 plays and appeared in over forty television episodes and films since 1953. He is most known for his appearances as Bill Hooten in Guestward, Ho!, Jim Nash in the TV series Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, and Alvie in the film Savannah Smiles, which he created and produced.

Miller married costume designer and publicist Beatrice Hudson Ammidown in December 1959. Marisa Miller, Penelope Ann, and Savannah Miller were the couple’s three daughters. Both of the elder girls went on to become actresses. Savannah’s curly blonde hair inspired Miller to create the film Savannah Smiles, and she ended up playing a little role in it as well. In 1975, the couple divorced.

Miller remarried actress Barbara Stanger in 1976. A Walk in the Clouds, directed by Alfonso Arau and starring Keanu Reeves and Anthony Quinn, was co-written by the two. In 1998, the couple divorced.
Amelia Miller Eberline, Eloisa May Huggins, Gretta Miller Eberline, Sophie Miller Eberline, Maria Adela Huggins, and Celeste Ariella Berzer are Miller’s grandkids.
