Martin Steven Lewis CBE is an English financial journalist and broadcaster who was born on May 9, 1972. He founded a website called “MoneySavingExpert.com”, which he later sold out to the Moneysupermarket.com group for about a whopping £87 million.

The English broadcaster attended the King’s School and further read Government and Law at the London School of Economics, and in 1997, He was a postgraduate student in Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff University’s Centre for Journalism Studies, and in 2013, Lewis received an honorary doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Chester.

Right after graduation from journalism at Cardiff University, Lewis was hired and he worked as a producer for the BBC Business Unit, where he worked on the BBC Radio Five Live business programmes and later became editor of BBC Radio.

Martin Lewis’s parents are Stauart Lewis and Susan Lewis. Martin Lewis first lived at Didsbury, in Manchester with his parents before moving with them to the village of Norley near Delamere Forest, where his father Stauart Lewis was appointed as headmaster of a school for students with special educational needs.

Martin Lewis’s mother Susan Lewis died in a car accident when Lewis was still in his childhood.
