Matthew Anthony Corral (born January 31, 1999, in Ventura, California) is an American football quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels. He then transferred to Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California, after attending Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California.

He later asserted that he transferred schools because Oaks Christian was for “privileged kids” who “would never have to work a day in their lives,” as well as a violent incident with Wayne Gretzky’s son, which prompted him to do so.

He was a participant in the 2018 US Army All-American Bowl. Prior to switching to the University of Mississippi, he had committed to play collegiate football at the University of Southern California and the University of Florida.

As a junior in 2021, Corral set a school record for touchdowns in a game with seven, tossing three and rushing for four against the Tulane Green Wave. [13] Corral would lead the Rebels to a 10–2 record and postseason participation in the Sugar Bowl in his final season at Ole Miss.

Corral finished the season with 3333 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and four interceptions on 258 completions of 378 attempts. Prior to playing in the 2022 Sugar Bowl, Corral stated that he intends to declare for the NFL Draft at the end of the season.

In the first quarter, he was taken off after suffering a leg injury.
