Matt Raney teaches and goes hunting all year long to keep the Raney family’s freezer full. Matt brought moose, caribou, sheep, and more than a thousand pounds of fish in the summer of 2015. This allowed the Raney family as a whole to survive the winter.
On the farm that belonged to his uncle and aunt, Matt Raney gained knowledge about farming and animal care. Matt and Katie recently got married, and they both live in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, not far from Marty’s. Matt Raney is the older of Marty Raney’s two kids. Misty Raney is his younger sister.
