Maye Musk is a model and nutritionist from Canada and South Africa. She’s been a model for 50 years, appearing on magazine covers. She was married to Errol Musk until 1979 when they divorced.

Maye began modeling when she was 15 years old. Despite being informed that her modeling career would be gone by the time she turned 18, she went on to work as a print and runway model for decades.

Maye attributed her increased popularity after reaching 60 to her decision to stop dying her hair. She earned work with a stunning flash of white hair, including an ad for Virgin America and the cover of New York magazine in 2011.

She married South African engineer Errol Musk, whom she had met in high school, in 1970. Elon, Kimbal, and Tosca Musk are their three children. Elon was named after John Elon Haldeman, her American grandpa.

Her marriage to Errol Musk ended in 1979. Elon moved in with his father after two years. Four years later, Kimbal joined Elon. Elon moved to Canada after graduating from high school, and Maye also arrived six months later along with her daughter Tosca.

Heide-Mari was Errol Musk’s second wife.

What Did She Reveal About Her Marriage With Errol Musk?

She claimed she married an aggressive man who promised to change after they were married, but he just grew worse. The dietitian stated she often wanted to leave the relationship but couldn’t since she couldn’t divorce due to the law.

Maye finally left the marriage that year, which she recalls as being both physically and mentally violent.

Her friends took her to her mother’s house while her husband was about to beat her up at a social gathering, and she was unaware that she was being physically abused. Musk didn’t tell her about it. She didn’t tell her friends about it until they saw it openly, and he couldn’t attack her after that.

The Covergirl spokesmodel expressed regret for not informing her family and friends sooner and recommended other ladies in similar situations to do so.

She has been on Special K cereal boxes, Revlon advertisements, and in a Beyoncé album. She was naked on the cover of Time magazine for a health issue in 2009, and she was also nude on the front of New York magazine in 2011 with a fake pregnant belly.

She featured on the cover of Elle Canada in 2012 and featured in Target and Virgin America ad campaigns. In September 2017, she became CoverGirl’s oldest spokesmodel at the age of 69, according to one news item. She was the oldest Sports Illustrated swimsuit model to date in 2022, when she appeared on the cover of the annual issue at the age of 74.

She works as a nutritionist and delivers seminars all over the world in addition to modeling.

Maye Musk appeared on Saturday Night Live with her son Elon on May 8, 2021, the day before Mother’s Day.
