Micael started his playing career at Limeira-based clubs Internacional and Independente, In 2019, he joined Atlético Mineiro’s youth academy, where he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 title the following year.
Micael made his professional debut on December 9, 2021, in a 4-3 away defeat to Grêmio in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. On April 27, 2022, he signed a season-long loan with Houston Dynamo 2, the MLS side’s reserve team. On August 13, he made his MLS debut for the first squad, losing 3-2 to CF Montréal.
