Michael Imperioli, an actor and author, was born in the US on March 26, 1966. For his portrayal of Christopher Moltisanti in the 1999–2007 HBO crime drama The Sopranos, he was honoured with the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a drama Series in 2004.

Michael Imperioli’s performance of Spider in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 film Goodfellas propelled him to early fame.

In addition to his acting career, Michael Imperioli is also an accomplished screenwriter. He collaborated with Spike Lee on the screenplay for the film “Summer of Sam” (1999), wrote five episodes of the acclaimed TV series “The Sopranos,” and even wrote and directed his own film, “The Hungry Ghosts,” in 2008.

In 1996, Imperioli married Victoria Chlebowski, and they have established residences in both Santa Barbara, California, and Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The couple is blessed with three children and shares a passion for practicing Tae Kwon Do together.
