Michael Mays was an important person in Denton county as he served as the President of green springs water supply cooperation, president of the green springs cemetery association as well as the former president of the Texas lathe and plastering association.
Also, Michael Mays managed Mays plastering, a family private business for more than 3 decades. Michael Mays was born to James A. and Bobbie Allen Mays and he was known to the oldest child of his parents. He had three younger siblings.
Educationally Michael Mays completed the Denton high school in 1967 and after ten years, he was a graduate of Texas Tech University with a master’s of education.
