Inna Patty who happens to be the CEO of Exclusive Events has stated that the Miss Ghana brand is not about cars and crowns but service to the motherland.

This comes after the reigning Miss Ghana, Margaret Mwintuur Dery resigned due to what she described as unfair treatment meted out to her by organisers of the pageant.

Speaking to the media after the launch of this year’s edition, Inna Patty indicated that the Miss Ghana brand is run like how an NGO is ran and therefore it’s not about the crown, car or the cash but rather the service one renders to the country.

“Miss Ghana brand has always symbolized beauty with a purpose. Every contestant, eventual queens or runner ups are encouraged to uphold certain values or be an embodiment of certain values. All the ladies we look out for must be intelligent and must be passionate about service to mother Ghana and in the interest of service to mother Ghana, it’s selfless. It’s not about car, it’s not about crown, it’s not about cash.

“Believe you me until youve walked the shoes of a typical NGO sometimes you have to go penniless in the interest of helping someone who is in a much worse situation than you are and that’s what Miss Ghana brand stands for.”
