Jeral Wayne Williams, commonly known as Mutulu Shakur, was born on August 8, 1950. He is an expert in acupuncture and a previous soldier in the Black Liberation Army. Shakur was born in Baltimore, Maryland. When he was seven years old, he moved to Queens, New York City, with his mother and younger sister.

Shakur first got involved in politics while he was in his late teens through the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM). He eventually enlisted in the Republic of New Afrika.

Along with other members of the Black Liberation Army, Shakur took part in the 1981 seizure of an armoured car. Members of the Weather Underground and the May 19 Communist Organization supported it.

Mutulu Shakur First Wife: Who Is Afeni Shakur?

Afeni Shakur Davis, formerly known as Alice Faye Williams, was a Black Panther Party supporter from the United States. She was born on January 10, 1947.

North Carolina’s Lumberton is the birthplace of Afeni Shakur. Gloria “Glo” Jean, her older sister, was born to her. She had a difficult upbringing and grew to despise her truck driver father for hitting her mother. In 1958, at the age of eleven, Williams and her sister moved to the South Bronx with their mother, a factory worker.

Shakur served as both the executor of Tupac Shakur’s estate and his mother. She founded the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation as well as the record label and movie production company Amaru Entertainment, Inc., where she also served as CEO.

Shakur died suddenly on May 2, 2016, in a hospital in Greenbrae, California, after having a heart attack earlier in the evening at her home. She had a 69-year-old age. Her body was burned.
