My wife slept in the house of a former male school mate but she’s saying nothing happened – Husband cries

A worried husband has contacted relationship counsellor David Papa Bondze-Mbir about something that’s troubling him.

According to him, his wife went to a supposed funeral in her hometown only to end up sleeping in the house of a former male school mate instead of the house of her cousin who’s a female.

Read his full message to the relationship counsellor below:

“Hello David,

Something is bothering me. My wife attended a funeral and had to spend the weekend. I always call to check on her everyday. It’s my kind of thing. And I love to hear her voice. So, last weekend, I called in the evening and couldn’t reach her. We had talked during the day. I called again in the evening and she wasn’t available to answer.

I was getting worried, so I called around 12.30am and a guy picked. He asked who I was and then told me, my wife was asleep. I asked who he was and he said a friend. My wife was supposed to be sleeping at her cousin’s house. That was what she told me. And that cousin I know about is a lady.

She called me in the morning to apologise and also told me she got drunk. The woman I married does not drink, so it wasn’t making any sense to me. I asked about the man and she said a former school mate. He took her to his house when he found out that she was drunk. She’s tried to convince me that nothing happened. I am trying my very best to believe her, because I trust my wife.

However, I am still not convinced. What do I do? I know she loves me. We’ve been married for seven years, and it’s been good so far. I don’t know what to make of this.”
