Carroll District Sheriff’s Office delegates at first answered reports of a shooting on Loafers Rest Street in Austinsville on Feb. 26 and found Paula Michelle Locklear, 35, with a shot injury to the leg.

“Throughout the examination, delegates established that the shooting was the consequence of a breaking and entering,” the sheriff’s office said in a Sunday Facebook post.

“The mortgage holder, who heard a commotion at the back region of the home, went to the kitchen and noticed an unclothed female, who was obscure to the mortgage holder, coming into the back entryway when [she] started raising a ruckus around town with a cast iron fry dish in the head.”

The casualty was in the long run ready to remove Locklear from his home and secure his entryway.

Locklear then, at that point, purportedly went on the mortgage holder’s back patio and “started switching every one of the electrical breakers off to the home and began beating on the kitchen window,” the sheriff’s office said.

She shouted at the casualty to “escape her home or she planned to kill him,” and started beating on the casualty’s entryway, so, all in all he released a gun and fired Locklear in the leg, as per specialists.

Virginia authorities accused Locklear of crime breaking and entering while furnished; threatening behavior; and property harm.
