Naomi Judd was an American singer and actress who was born on January 11, 1946, in Ashland, Kentucky. In 1983, she and her daughter Wynonna created the Judds, a country music duo.

In the year 2021, they were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Naomi founded the Judds, an extraordinarily successful team of vocalists, with the help of her daughter Wynonna Judd.

They are the most well-known mother-daughter duo in country music, with twenty of the top 10 singles (including fifteen number ones) and an eight-year winning streak at the three major country music awards shows.

They received five Grammy Awards and a slew of other honours. Naomi Judd died of a mental illness condition on April 30, 2022, near Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 76.
