Nayef Aguerd, who was born on March 30, 1996, is a Moroccan professional football player who plays as a centre back for Premier League club West Ham United and the Moroccan national team.
He finished as second in the 2015 Throne Cup during his first year at FUS Rabat after losing the championship match to Olympique Club de Khouribga. He scored the team’s first goal in a 3-1 win over Wydad AC on February 15, 2015. However, he scored his first continental goal, on March 3 in a 1-1 draw with UMS de Loum.
Aguerd signed a deal with Ligue 1 team Rennes on August 14, 2020, for an undisclosed amount that is rumoured to be between €4m and €5m.
