Neal Adams cause of death

Neal Adams, the legendary comic book artist whose photorealistic approach breathed fresh life into Batman and other superheroes and championed creators’ rights, died at the age of 80.

Following the campy Adam West-starring ABC series of the 1960s and years of the hero being promoted to children’s readers, Adams and writer Dennis O’Neil revolutionized the hero and the comics during his Batman run, bringing reality, kineticism, and a feeling of dread to their writing.

According to his wife, Marilyn Adams of The Hollywood Reporter, Adams died of sepsis complications in New York on Thursday.
