The problem with zombies is that they are impossible to contain. Except for a headshot, they usually return – and since the Resident Evil games are so well-known, transformations continue to astonish us on our television screens.

Next up is a Netflix series that is unrelated to last year’s realistic reboot Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City, instead of introducing a new take on the zombie-infection plot.

Apparently, that clean slate will be splattered with the crimson stuff soon long. Check out the Resident Evil: The Final Chapter trailer on Netflix:

In this Resident Evil-inspired project Albert Wesker, a worker for the Umbrella Corporation, is played by Lance Reddick, with Tamara Smart and Siena Agudong as his receptive girls Billie and Jade, respectively.

Also, as the teaser indicates, the series will follow two timelines: one in 2022, which begins in New Raccoon City, and another in London in 2036, when the planet has been invaded by a T-infection flare-up.

It’s Resident Evil, with its howling infected people, disturbing animals, undead hounds, and astonishingly immaculate corporate base camp.

The series will premiere on Netflix on July 14th, and we’ll find out how it compares to the Paul WS Anderson films and Welcome To Raccoon City soon long.
