Nia Long is a professional American actress who has been featured in so many movies including Boyz n the Hood (1991), Love Jones, Soul Food (both 1997), The Best Man, the sequel, The Best Man Holiday (2013), Big Momma’s House and Big Momma’s House 2 (2006).
Long style of roles in the movie industry has made her receive accolades like NAACP Image Awards and a Black Reel Award. Nia was born in New York City, U.S on 30 October 1970 by her parents named Talita Long (née Gillman) and Doughtry Long. Nia was very young when her parents got divorced and she was forced to move with his mother to another city.
Nia started her career when she was under a woman called Betty Bridges who was helping her to become one of the greatest stars in the world. Long first featured role was in a Disney television movie called the B.R.A.T. Nia signed a three-year contract role where she was portraying as Kathryn “Kat” in Speakes on the soap opera Guiding Light.
