An officer of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, has been chased out of Computer village in Ikeja, Lagos State, by angry mobs for coming to arrest a shop owner illegally.
However, the crowd seemed so furious as they were all fed up with constantly being harassed by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
The SARS officer in the video shot just once in the air as he tried to disperse the crowd but that did not work too well for him as it even spurred the morale of the crowds as they began dragging him and throwing things on him.
The SARS officer then proceeded to enter his car in an attempt to move away from the scene but the angry crowd followed him as they constantly kept on hitting his vehicle.
Nigerians have had enough of SARS officers harassing them which led to them trending hash tags on social media platforms as they called on government to end the SARS unit.
