Nigerian singer and songwriter, Lawal Ismaila known as Cash Wale has blasted Desmond Elliot over controversy that has trailed Desmond Elliot’s comment about celebrities and social media influencers in the wake of the #EndSARS protest.
“The people of Lagos voted you to represent them and serve them well. Maybe he has forgotten that most of the voters are Youthsm you don’t just sit and defend what is wrong. I am disappointed of the fact that someone like Desmond will make such statements. We need courage in this emotional time, not criticism“, the Lagos based singer added.
The likes of Uche Jumbo, Simi, Davido, Reno Omokri and other celebrities have lashed out on Desmond Elliot for taking the side of the Government instead of supporting the citizens.
Cash Wale is known for songs like Oshomolo, Won Kere, Body Bad, Ijeoma, Lover Lover and Mama.
