Puma’s 2011 non-profit Project Pink, which funds many breast cancer nonprofits, and Hunger Bites, a charity devoted to relieving starvation in 27 towns across Pennsylvania, are two of Dobrev’s charity interventions. Dobrev is also renowned for her longstanding commitment to the WE initiative, a Canadian foundation that encourages adolescents to be changemakers. Dobrev volunteered in a Me to We volunteer excursion to Kenya to contribute to the establishment of a school. She was the moderator of the We Day conference in Toronto in 2011 and was on board at WE Day California in 2019.
