Nipsey Hussle was murdered on March 31, 2019, by shooting. According to reports, he was shot about ten times in the parking lot of Marathon Clothing. He died at age 33 and was survived by his two children; Emani Asghedom and Kross Ermias Asghedom as well as Lauren London, who was his girlfriend by then. The alleged killer has been identified as Eric Holder.
During the murder trial on June 20, 2022, Shermi Villanueva, a witness, revealed the last words of the rapper. According to him, Nipsey Hussle’s last words were “He shot me. He shot me”.
