It was recorded and confirmed that the first of the viral video’s three parts was uploaded on Twitter and TikTok in early May 2022, sparking a flood of memes, comments, and discussion posts regarding the video in the same month.

A user named capadonna submitted three sets of videos, however, each lasting about a few minutes, onto a website on the 18th of January in the year 2018 with questionable or fake content.

Comments on the main thread claim that the videos are far worse than the original post, which raises the possibility that an earlier version of the first video circulated online before it was posted on January 18 but was lost by May 2022.

The Guerrero Flaying, also known as No Mercy Around Mexico, was apparently broadcast on national television and throughout the internet at the start of and around early 2018.

It claims to show a father and son being bound, beaten, and then executed by cartel men in Mexico.
