Norma Whiteman would forever be remembered for her contribution to the growth of cricket sports in Australia and for inspiring ladies to do their bit in a game that is predominantly male thing.

Norma Whiteman was born in New South Wales, Bathurst on 28th December 1927. She had an interest in sports from a young age and she represented the Australian Women’s National cricket team when she was just 21 years old and played seven test matches between 1948-1951 during which she incredible prowess and fine apt for playing the game leaving many in awe of how good she just was.

Until her death, she represented a heroine figure for not just the Australian people but the Cricket society in general.

Norma Whiteman Obituary

Norma died on the 9th of January 2023 and was 95 at the time and she is set to be buried in her birthplace and she was the oldest living test cricketer in Australia.
