On a Harlem subway platform at 3 PM on Saturday, 15-year-old Kelvin Martinez stabbed Notti Osama, killing him.
He had a knife wound to the liver, and when EMS arrived at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, he was declared dead.
The Police said that Osama and Martinez, who he knew and who belonged to a rival gang, engaged in a street brawl that spilt over to the subway platform.
First-degree manslaughter was Martinez’s official charge after being first charged with second-degree murder.
Prosecutors discovered that Osama had cornered Martinez and confronted him with a broomstick, but Martinez was outnumbered by Osama and his crew.

According to information, Osama and the alleged killer, a 15-year-old, got into a confrontation that spilt into the subway station, where Martinez was forced onto the rails before being fatally stabbed.
