She was going to be the fourth daughter and the seventh child of the couple as well as a sister to three brothers and three sisters unfortunately she died few hours after she was born.

When Oakleigh Hayes’ father, Walker Hayes, arrived at the hospital, the medical staff informed him that his wife, Laney, had a ruptured uterus, meaning the organ’s abdominal cavity wall had torn open. Oakleigh suffered from a lack of blood supply and suffocated to death.
“It is with tremendous regret that Laney and I share the news with you that our sweet Oakleigh Klover Hayes was born this morning at the hospital and is now securely ensconced in Heaven, the statement continues. We appreciate you respecting our need for privacy as we grieve.” he said in a post.
