He matriculated at Tulane University after graduating from Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie in 1994 with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration.
As an executive, he has served in various positions on different football teams in the National Football League.
From 1997 through 2001, he was the operations manager for the New Orleans Saints. He joined The Pittsburgh Steelers as Coordinator of Football Administration at the end of his last year and stayed for roughly ten years.
Later, he was elevated to Football Administration Director and subsequently Vice President of Football and Business Administration.
