Otis Taylor Health: What Health Condition Did Otis Taylor Have?

According to local radio host Brian B. Shynin and later FOX4 News’ Harold Kuntz, Otis Taylor, a long-time wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, passed away at the age of 80.

In 2012, Taylor’s family filed a lawsuit against the NFL, claiming that the organization was legally responsible for Taylor’s health issues, which started with seizures in 1969 and continued after he was identified as having Parkinson’s disease and dementia that goes along with it in 1990.

Otis Taylor’s wife Regina, son Otis Taylor III, and sister Odell, a certified vocational nurse, had been providing his care for more than ten years when the lawsuit was filed.

Otis Taylor had recently become largely mute and bedridden. Otis Taylor passes away from Parkinson’s disease, as far as we know.
