Pam Shriver ( born on July 4, 1962) is an American former professional tennis player. She is currently the broadcaster for ESPN tennis and a pundit for BBC tennis coverage.

Between the 1980s and the 1990s, Shriver won 133 titles, including 21 single titles and 111 women’s doubles titles, and one mixed double title.

In the 1988, Olympic games, she won the women’s double gold medal in Seoul with Zina Garrison as her partner.

She and her regular doubles partner Martina Navratilova are the only women’s doubles pair who were able to complete the Grand Slam in a calendar year, winning all four major titles in 1984.

In 2021, She became a supporter of the new Women’s sports policy Working Group. This group was formed in response to United States president, Joe Baiden’s order.

The order stated that transgender females must be added to sports compulsorily. This made it possible for transgenders to participate in sports wherever and whenever possible.
