He completed his KSHSAA 6A high school tennis career with an 80-0 record and four straight singles state titles after graduating from Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
He also played doubles in high school with his brother Eric, and in Jack’s sophomore year they shared the team state title.
After Eric graduated and started playing collegiate tennis at the University of Nebraska, Jack went on to win two more team state titles.
As a wild card entrant in the 2017 BB&T Atlanta Open, Jack and Eric also participated in a doubles match at the ATP Tour level.
Tennis player Sloane Stephens and tennis player Katie Boulter were both women that Sock dated in the past. On December 12, 2020, he wed Laura Little, Miss North Carolina 2019.
