Datuk Pang Chin Hin was the founder of Mamee Monster Snacks. Hin was the creator of snacks such as Mamee Monster, Mister Potato Chips, Double Dexker shrimp crackers, and Mamee and Mamee Chef instant noodles.
Pang Chin Hin founded Mamee Monster Snacks in the year 1971 in Ayer Keroh, Melaka in Malaysia. Pang Chin has been able to run Mamee Monster Snacks for over five decades and for that matter he has been identified as a “titan in the regional food industry”.
Pang Chin Hin also engaged in many charitable works which include donations to ensure community development and educational development.
On November 5, 2022, Pang Chin Hin passed away. Pang Chin was at the age of 96 years at the time of his death. The cause of Pang Chin’s death is not known at the moment.
