Carolina Panthers rookie Bryce Young was seen giving a speech to his teammates on the sidelines during their face-off with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. After the video went viral, fans started hailing his leadership skills.

Heading into week 4 of NFL, Young was battling an ankle injury which made his return to the league questionable. However, on Friday, he went through his third straight day as a full participant and did not have an injury status for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Which meant that he received the green light and was good to go.

The Panthers did have one player listed as out, which was safety Xavier Woods due to a hamstring injury. They also had three questionable. Linebacker Frankie Luvu (hip) was a limited participant Friday while running back Miles Sanders (groin) was held out of Friday’s practice. Wide receiver Jonathan Mingo remained in the concussion protocol and was at practice wearing a red jersey.

Other than that, the rest of the players who were listed on the report were full participants on Friday. They did not have injury statuses for Sunday.

Bryce played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, setting the school record for most passing yards in a single game (559) and winning several player of the year awards in 2021, including the Heisman Trophy. Young was selected first overall by the Panthers in the 2023 NFL Draft.
